How Brunette with a Brush Started

, a little bit about myself. My name is Bri and I live in Southwest Michigan. I have a four year old daughter and a soon to be step daughter. I love have always loved arts and crafts, painting with acrylics on canvas and spending time outdoors. When I met my fiancee, he introduced me to Dungeons & Dragons, which then peaked my interest in painting miniatures.
How it all began
After learning that I loved to paint and an eye for detail, my fiancee bought me a couple of miniatures and a starter set of paints for Christmas. Not knowing how much I would love the craft and how good I would be at it, he didn't spend that much money on the starter set.
To his surprise, my first two miniatures turned out great (for a newbie) and I enjoyed every minute of painting them! The picture to the left are my Mimics, which are the very first miniatures I painted :)
And then it just kept growing!
As I continued to paint, I just kept getting better and enjoying it more. So, my fiancee put in quite a bit of money to support my habit and grow my (paint, brushes and all other things needed) collection. Finally, he suggested that I start streaming while I paint. At first I was extremely nervous (I have very shy tendencies), but after a few videos, I got the hang of it and started building my following. Now I stream on a regular basis and keep my followers updated on my works through numerous social media sites. I have even been lucky enough to get a few commissions under my belt.
